Not at all. While I have a background in social work and child protection, I work with a wide range of helping professionals including case workers, youth workers, counsellors, lawyers, psychologists, and team leaders.
If you’re holding complex cases, supporting people through trauma, leading teams, or navigating tricky systems, you’re in the right place. What matters is that you want reflective, values-based support that honours your reality. -
I’m an AASW-accredited social worker with over 18 years in frontline practice, leadership, child protection, and private practice across Australia, Aotearoa NZ, and the UK.
I have a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Otago, I have completed specialist training in clinical supervision, coaching vicarious trauma, group facilitation, and reflective practice to name a few. Plus I have completed many trainings related to Child Protection and parenting support (Circle of Security, Attachment, Trauma). I also receive supervision myself and regularly attend professional development so I can bring fresh insights to our work together. -
My style is reflective, responsive, and grounded in real-world practice. I bring curiosity, care, political awareness, and a good dose of honesty. I like to call myself a reflective practice enthusiast! You’ll find a mix of structure and flexibility space to think deeply, feel heard, and be gently challenged.
I draw on models like the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, Appreciative Inquiry, systems thinking, a number of reflective practice models, values exploration, and vicarious trauma. We’ll use what works for you and I’ll always explain the “why.” -
Most of my supervision sessions and webinars happen online via Zoom so you can join from anywhere in Australia or beyond.
I’m based in the Blue Mountains, NSW, and occasionally offer in-person supervision and workshops around Sydney. If you’d like to meet face-to-face, let’s chat about what’s possible. -
Supervision is a professional space to reflect on your practice- your purpose, boundaries, systems, and growth. It is all about enhances your practice. It can be personal, but it isn’t therapy.
Therapy focuses on your mental and emotional health and addresses these. If personal issues arise in supervision, we’ll look at how they intersect with your work and I’ll support you to seek additional help if needed. -
There’s no one-size-fits-all. Most people have supervision monthly, some more often during transitions or high-pressure periods, and others less frequently due to funding or part-time roles.
Group supervision runs every 3 or 4 weeks, depending on the cohort.

You won’t be the first person I’ve heard say that or the last! You can bring a case, a dilemma, a win, a question or simply just yourself.
You’ll receive a short pre-session reflection form to help focus our time. I can help guide you. -
For supervision, you can pay upfront when booking or request an invoice after the session. If your organisation covers the cost or you need a custom invoice, I’m happy to arrange it just let me know.
Workshops require payment at registration. Consultancy and contracted workshops are usually invoiced 50% upfront and 50% seven days before delivery, though we can tailor that to your contract.
